How to Find My Spotify Artist ID

Your Spotify artist ID is the string of numbers and letters that appear at the end of your artist profile's Spotify URL.  Once you have your artist ID, we can link it to your future Boost Collective releases to ensure that your next release is mapped to the correct artist page.

There are two ways to find your Spotify artist ID:


Spotify Artist URL

You can add your Spotify Artist URL and add it to your release before you distribute it in order to ensure it is delivered to the correct artist page. 

  1. Find your public artist page on Spotify
  2. Click the spotify-new.png icon that appears below your artist name
  3. When the menu appears, choose Share > Copy Artist Link
  4. Paste the string of letters and characters at the end of the URL into the artist information of your Boost Collective account:

Artist ID on the Spotify desktop app:

  1. Find your public artist page on Spotify
  2. Click the spotify-new.png icon that appears below your artist name
  3. When the menu appears, choose Share > Copy Spotify URL
  4. When you paste the Spotify URL, remove the “spotify:artist:” text at the beginning of the string
  5. The remaining combination of numbers and letters is your Spotify artist ID

Artist ID on the Spotify web app:

  1. Open the Spotify Web Player and find your artist page
  2. Check the artist’s URL
  3. The page URL will start with “https://open.spotify.com/artist/,” the number that appears after that is the artist ID:
